Mesothelioma is a killer. People that have lived or worked around asbestos can show up with this killer disease 20-40 years later. ReplyDeleteAsbestos was one of the popular building materials before it was discovered to be cancerous that is why there are still a lot of institutions and buildings around us that are has asbestos. An example is the window panes we have at my university. We always cover our noses when we pass by the area. No contractor would really want to renovate the whole building since they would be put to risk too.
